Care designed to release the tension that interferes with recovery

“What exactly is WINBACK treatment?”

This is one of the questions we receive most often.

At Gokan Plus, we use WINBACK thermal care together with hands-on treatment to gently warm deep layers of the body while helping release muscular and nervous system tension.

Many people imagine WINBACK as simply “a warming machine,” but its purpose is not just to heat the body.

Chronic fatigue and body tension

Chronic fatigue and persistent stiffness are often related to factors such as:

・Muscular tension・Reduced circulation・Nervous system overstimulation

When these states continue for long periods, the body can struggle to fully enter a restorative, recovery-focused state.

What the body needs in order to recover

For the body to recover properly, several conditions are important:

・Healthy circulation

・Delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells

・Removal of waste products

・A calm and regulated nervous system

When these functions work smoothly together, the body is better able to access its natural recovery processes.

However, with chronic fatigue, ongoing muscular and nervous system tension can create a cycle that makes recovery increasingly difficult.

How WINBACK works

WINBACK is a high-frequency thermal care device.

It uses frequencies between approximately 300 kHz and 1 MHz to create gentle heat within the body’s tissues.

As the high-frequency current passes through the body, ions within the tissues vibrate and generate heat internally.

This phenomenon is known as Joule heating.

Unlike external warming methods, the heat is generated from within the body itself.

As a result, the treatment may help support:

・Circulation

・Muscle relaxation

・Deep physical relaxation

Why we use WINBACK at Gokan Plus

At Gokan Plus, we do not think of WINBACK simply as a machine for warming the body.

We use it as a tool to help regulate tension throughout the body.

By combining deep thermal care with slow, mindful touch,

we aim to calm:

・Muscular tension

・Nervous system overstimulation

and guide the body toward a more relaxed and restorative state.

Combining thermal care with hands-on treatment

One of WINBACK’s unique features is that it can be integrated directly into hands-on bodywork.

By wearing a bracelet electrode, the practitioner can deliver the high-frequency current through their hands during treatment.

Because of this, the experience feels less like a machine-based treatment and more like a deeply warming hand treatment.

As slow, flowing touch is combined with internal warmth, many clients describe a gradual sense of deep relaxation throughout the body.

One of the reasons I personally chose WINBACK was this ability to combine technology with the comfort of human touch.

Even clients who are sensitive to strong machine stimulation often find the treatment gentle and comfortable.

The body changes gradually through consistent care

Chronic fatigue and long-term tension develop gradually over time.

Because of this, meaningful change also happens progressively rather than all at once.

However, by repeatedly creating conditions that allow the body to recover more easily, the body may gradually begin to release tension more naturally and restore its own capacity for recovery.

In the next article, we will explore the physical effects of WINBACK in more detail, including its relationship to:

・Circulation

・Muscles

・The nervous system
